If you have lost someone
Go to the nearest steward.
Every steward carries a radio and can start a search in under a minute. You do not need to find a particular tent first.
- Stay where you are and tell the nearest steward. They wear high-visibility jackets marked WELFARE.
- Give the child's name, age, and what they are wearing. A photo on your phone is quicker than a description.
- If you are separated and cannot find a steward, go to the Welfare tent. It is beside the main entrance, open all day.
First aid posts sit beside each of the three stages and at the Welfare tent. Welfare is staffed all day and is a quiet space as well as a medical one: it is the right place to go if you are overwhelmed, if you have lost your group, or if you just need to sit down away from the noise. Drug and alcohol support, and the on-site medical provider, to confirm.
